Question: How long does it take to install a NuTone Central Cleaning System?
Answer: A typical installation can usually be accomplished in about a day or as a weekend project.

Question: Can I install a Central Cleaning System myself?
Answer: The do-it-yourself homeowner with some knowledge of electricity can install a NuTone Central Cleaning System. A builder or plumber can also provide professional installation. We have a Nutone Central Vacuum Installation Manual with detailed information on installing a NuTone Central Cleaning System.

Question: How can I get a question answered about...intercom service?...purchasing a new item or system?...
Answer: Give us a call or send us an email; we return email very quickly during business hours and respond first thing in the morning to email messages sent during off-hours. Question: I have a IM-2064, but it looks just like the IM-2065 - what's the difference?
Answer: NuTone used to assign different model numbers to the different colors of the same intercom. Now, the model number is the same for all intercom colors with a suffix for color (ex. IM-3303WH is bright white and IM-3303L is biscuit).

Question: Can I upgrade my older intercom system?
Answer: We have online guides for updating many older NuTone intercoms. Please contact us if you still have questions about updating your current system.

Question: I have a malfunctioning intercom that may have been damaged by a lightning strike. Can this be repaired?
Answer: Please see our policies on lightning damage.

Question: What is the procedure for sending in an intercom for repair?
Answer: Damaged or malfunctioning intercoms may be shipped to us at the following address: 8166 Wales Rd. NW North Canton, Ohio 44720. Please visit the NuTone Repair Service page for important instructions for sending a unit in for repair.

Answer: We do not recommend next-day or second-day air shipping as our prices are deep-discounted and you, as a customer, will lose most of the discount that we pass on to you. Additionally, due to the weight of many of our most popular items, express shipping can easily be double or triple the cost of the item itself.
